Mems inclinometer is a cost-effective high-performance MEMS-based inclinometer that has been widely used in industries.
The MEMS inclinometer is a MEMS accelerometer, with a size of about 2mm x 2mm x 20mm, and its integrated MEMS gyroscope. The MEMS inclinometer can be used for various applications such as maintenance of a vehicle’s balance, patient monitoring (e.g. heart rate), and so on.
By using the MEMS inclinometer, the user can achieve accurate measurement of both vertical and lateral acceleration data.
2. What is a mems inclinometer?
MEMS inclinometers are devices that measure the angular displacement of a MEMS (microelectromechanical solid-state) device. MEMS (microelectromechanical systems) are a family of solid-state devices with unique properties. MEMS devices can be employed to measure the angular displacement of mechanical objects, such as wheels, gears, and motors. MEMS inclinometers are used in many industries including agriculture, manufacturing, semiconductors, and personal computers.
3. What are the benefits of using a mems inclinometer?
Mems inclinometers have been used for years in industries worldwide, but the cost of these devices has always put them out of reach for many applications. As a result, we are now reaching a point where mems inclinometers can be used in many applications that would normally require expensive high-performance MEMS-based devices.
The benefits of using our MEMS inclinometer are:• Higher precision: Mems inclinometers are able to measure angles up to 20 degrees and below with an accuracy of 0.1 degrees; however, they can also measure angles greater than 20 degrees with an accuracy of 0.05 degrees. Additionally, MEMS inclinometers can be used in air pressure sensing and flow sensing applications to measure angles up to 50 degrees over an airfield or water field.
The accuracy of MEMS inclinometer is equivalent to that of the most expensive MEMS-based devices available on the market today, making them very cost-effective sensors for applications such as flow and pressure sensing.
- Lower power consumption: Mems inclinometers are extremely power efficient and require much less power than other MEMS-based devices when measuring angle(s). In addition, MEMS inclinometers are able to operate at ambient temperatures as low as -20° Celsius. This is possible because MEMS sensors do not have any moving parts; rather they rely on a small amount of charge stored within inductive loops within the device itself (which is where the term “mem” comes from)
- Accuracy: Mems inclinometers have an excellent dynamic range between 0° and 180° which allows them to perform measurements over large angles (over 40 degrees) with very high accuracy while maintaining full resolution throughout measurements (over 90%). Additionally, fluctuation in the sensor’s response time is minimized so that measurements can be made accurately over a large range of angles (over 30°) even though measurement resolution may not be nearly as high as other MEMS sensors due to fluctuation in their responses over time (e.g., due to temperature changes or vibration).

- ‘Pico’ – A small analog micro-motor-based device that requires only 6mA current drain – With Pico micro-motor-based devices being one order of magnitude more sensitive than standard analog bridge type sensor systems there’s no need for additional battery packs or AC adapter cables.
